Payment Terms
These terms apply to all training services provided by Training Australia. By accepting a quote and confirming a booking, the client agrees to the following conditions:
- Cancellations – More than 48 hours’ notice: No charge applies. – Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the course fee will be invoiced. – Same-day cancellation or non-attendance: 100% of the course fee will be invoiced. – Substitutions: If a booked participant cannot attend, a replacement participant may attend at no extra cost.
- Course Delivery & Certification – Attendance at training does not guarantee certification. Competency must be demonstrated in both theory and practical components. – Trainers will provide support and feedback to assist participants in achieving competency. – Certificates are issued only once all enrolment details are complete and fees have been paid in full, or Purchase Order received.
- Support – Please advise us in advance if any participant has learning, language, literacy, or numeracy needs. This allows us to arrange reasonable adjustments or additional resources. – Where support cannot be provided on the scheduled day, we may recommend the participant attend a dedicated session.
- Training Location At Training Australia Training Rooms – Training is delivered in facilities designed to meet first aid training requirements, including access to manikins, AED trainers, and other equipment. – Participants must wear appropriate clothing for practical activities such as CPR (kneeling, bending, lifting). At Client Premises – The client must provide a safe and suitable training room with: – Sufficient floor space for practical activities (including CPR practice on manikins). – Adequate seating, lighting, and ventilation. – Access to amenities (toilets, handwashing facilities). – The client is responsible for ensuring the training venue complies with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Minimum Numbers & Group Bookings – A minimum participant number may apply for group or workplace bookings. – If minimum numbers are not met, the course may be rescheduled, delivered at an adjusted fee, or run with fewer participants at the originally quoted price.
- Payment Terms – An invoice is issued after training and is payable within 14 days, unless otherwise agreed – For recurring bookings (multiple dates or staff groups), invoices may be issued monthly. – All fees are quoted in AUD. Nationally Accredited training is GST free, Non-Accredited training incurs GST and prices are GST inclusive unless otherwise specified. – If paying by Credit Card, we on-charge our merchant fees of (currently) 1.7%.
- Privacy & Confidentiality – All student records are maintained in accordance with the Standards for RTOs (2025) and privacy legislation. – Personal information is collected and stored in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and is only shared where required by law or for regulatory reporting. – Client and learner details will not be disclosed to 3rd parties without consent.
- Provider Cancellations – From time to time, a course may be cancelled by Training Australia (e.g., trainer illness, low enrolment numbers). – In these cases, every effort will be made to reschedule participants into the next available course at no additional cost. – Training Australia is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances outside its control.
- Liability & Insurance – Training Australia maintains current public liability and professional indemnity insurance. – Except as required by law, Training Australia is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages incurred during training. – The client is responsible for participant safety at client premises.
- Intellectual Property – All training resources, manuals, and assessment materials remain the property of Training Australia (or its licensors). – Materials are provided for participant use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
